Still Having Sex With My Ex

The ex has a girlfriend, but is now calling me, and coming over, and spending the night, telling me how beautiful I am, and how irrisistible I am. He gazes into my eyes and tells me how he has feelings for me, and he cares for me. He never mentions the girlfriend, except for the first time in the beginning when I said to him, "You have a girlfriend..don't you?" He answered yes. This has been going on for seven months.....I told him that this is hard for me, and he said he knows it's not fair to me...I believe he cares for me, but he's afraid to let himself get any closer. When we were a couple, he told me he had never got so close to anyone so quickly. What do I do?

You have been letting this go on for seven months? So for seven months you have been the other woman. You should never even let yourself be the other woman. You know you would hate it if your boyfriend had another woman on the side. Even if you hate this other girlfriend, you should never do another woman wrong in this manner. It is wrong.

If you really want to get his attention, you need to deprive this man of what he really wants from you: physical intimacy. Cut him off. No more nookie unless he is your boyfriend. Make this absolutely clear to him. You also want to tell him that you would have a relationship with him, if the circumstances were different. But as they stand now, you can not continue to degrade yourself with a mere sexual relationship while you want and need more. Make good on your promise and refuse to see him until he is free and single.
